The A&E Healthcare Services Inc. mental health clinic offers therapy and medication management for children and adults aged 5 and older. Those seeking treatment can simply visit one of our clinics to schedule an intake appointment.
Intake: Adults
Adults are expected to schedule their own intake appointments. However, exceptions can be made for those who have limitations that prevent them from doing so. In such instances, a guardian or care provider may arrange the intake appointment on their behalf. This individual should also accompany the adult to the first appointment to help complete the initial paperwork.
Intake: Child & Adolescent
A parent or legal guardian is required to attend the initial intake appointment alongside their child and must be available for continued treatment and planning. In Maryland, children who are 16 years old or older have the same rights as adults to participate in outpatient mental health services. In such cases, the child will fill out and sign the initial paperwork and any ongoing treatment planning documents.
Insurance & Fees
We currently accept Maryland Medicaid and TriCare. Private pay fees can be requested for your convenience.
Ineligibility
We are unable to provide services for the following individuals:
- Those seeking a one-time psychiatric evaluation
- Individuals with a primary diagnosis of substance use
- Individuals whose main diagnosis is a developmental disability
- Individuals with a conviction for a child sex offense
- Those under the age of five
