Admission Criteria
The participant must have a PBHS specialty mental health diagnosis as defined by DSM-5 and should be expected to stabilize at this level of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) care.
Medical Necessity Criteria
- Struggle to maintain stable employment due to psychiatric symptoms.
- Exhibit social behaviors that prompt intervention from the mental health system.
- Experience cognitive disorganization that hinders functioning in the community.
- Face significant challenges in establishing or maintaining a personal support system.
- Require assistance with essential living skills.

Entitlement Services
Determine your eligibility for government assistance. These services are available at all locations. Additionally, our team actively engages in advocacy, completes applications, and manages all entitlements.
Off-Site Services
Access services off-site based on the participant’s preferences and schedule.
Eligibility
- Provide Maryland Medicaid proof and/or application documentation.
- Present a psychiatric diagnosis that aligns with the priority population criteria set by the Behavioral Health Authority.
- Complete an intake assessment with PRP staff.
- Commit to attending the PRP at least twice weekly from 10 am to 1 pm.
What to Bring to the Intake
- Bring your Social Security card, identification, and/or birth certificate.
- Include your Maryland Medicaid card and other insurance cards, such as Medicare.
- Provide the name, address, and phone number of your current or past therapist, psychiatrist, and medical doctor.
- List your current medications.
- Gather hospitalization records, medical records, and any relevant documents.
